Windspoint Window Replacement
Having previously had living area windows re placed by A. Holden’s
In 2002 after living at Windspoint through some pretty severe winters with cold easterly winds, we decided to replace some of the remaining original wooden framed window with UPVC double-glazed units. To keep the cold out from other areas of Windspoint
We sought a few quotes from various supplier/installers.
Once again A. Holden’s quotation ticked the boxes, on price, deliver and installation etc.
We ordered the windows and the work was completed in good time. As usual the installers did the work with minimal disruption to the rooms took the old window away, cleaning up all the mess before leaving. An important issue is that the installers were polite and courteous.
Subsequently we have now replaced all the windows with double glazed unit supplied and installed by A. Holden’s.
I can recommend this company as one, if not the best in the area.
Of all the windows supplied by Holden we have only had one sealed unit
Replacement. This was completed under warranty, at no cost to ourselves.

“We have used A.Holdens on 2 separate occasions over the past 6 years and on each occasion we have been totally satisfied with the service provided. From quotation to installation the work has been undertaken in a thoroughly professional manner. Our electronic roller garage door has been a god send, no more struggling with the up & over in the wind and rain, and has given faultless performance since fitted in 2004. Other services have included windows, patio doors and cladding and in each case all the work has been delivered on time and to specification and with minimal disruption. “It goes with out saying that if I have need of replacement windows and doors, there’s only one company I’d entertain and that of course, is yours.
As we go past our quarter century in business, things have started to wear out and break. One of these little niggles has occurred in the snapping of the spring that is supposed to stop our letter box from flapping when we get a strong wind. A clanging letter flap makes life very uncomfortable when trying to sell our services to a discerning wedding couple.
It would appear that our letterbox is now non-standard and your replacement part would not fit. Did this faze your employee, not a bit of it, he spent a good hour filling the metal until it fitted perfectly.
All the while your installer worked on a dust sheet, which he provided, and then went to his van to get a vacuum cleaner to finish off, not that I could see any debris, because he was, the height of tidiness and cleanliness.
Not only is your product good but your team are also a credit to you, and you should be proud of them. They make fine ambassadors for your company”.
