About half of home-owners think the same, we reckon 75% of windows & doors get very little or no maintenance each year. Windows & doors are not maintenance-free. If it has a moving part, then it will need maintaining. Its common sense really, if you don’t oil moving parts they will seize. Call in and get some advice from our experienced staff.

My postman or paper boy have been a bit heavy-handed and broken my letter box, how can I prevent this happening again?

We hear this all the time, the postman or paper boy getting the blame. Truth is, it may just be wear & tear. Most older letter plates only open to 90 degrees, by fitting a letter plate that opens to 180 degrees should prevent the face plate from snapping off. Bring in your old letter plate, we should be able to match it.

The black rubber around my window has shrunk – Can I replace it ?

Yes. We have a wide selection in stock and like the rest of our replacement parts it doesn’t cost a lot. Bring in a piece of gasket and we should be able to match it.

Can you fix my old patio door? I have been told its ‘had it’
